Hey Guys!!
I am back again with yet another blog, and this time I am going to be writing about my next travel in depth. But as always, I am going to keep it short and sweet!
The last one week has been super busy with two activities: planning and packing. The wedding planning takes up most of my time, getting into the finer details at this point of time. But it is always super interesting to plan out every detail of the wedding, making it a once in a lifetime kind of day. And that is one of the reasons why I haven’t been writing so consistently, but today I had some time on my hands!
So tomorrow I will be heading to
South Africa!
I have never been there, and had been wishing to go there for years. Especially after growing up in Tanzania for a couple of years, I never got a chance to fly back to the African continent. But finally my wait is over, and I would be visiting not just for a holiday but to attend an amazing event.
THE COMRADES MARATHON!
For those of you’ll who do not know much about the Comrades Marathon- the Comrades Marathon is an ultramarathon which is one of a kind. It is approximately 89 kilometres which is run annually in South Africa between the cities of DURBAN and PIETERMARITZBURG. It is the world’s largest and oldest ultramarathon race. And my fiancé will be running this one!!
Surely seems like a close to impossible dream for me to accomplish, haha. But apart from the running, I am so excited to enjoy a
SAFARI!!!
I have always been a wildlife lover, and I remember taking so many safari trips as a young child, but getting to re-live it is just precious. I am so excited to go there and capture some amazing pictures to share it here. Getting to go on a safari is one part, but I am going tome visiting and staying at a Game Reserve so I could experience wildlife more closely.
This is a short trip to South Africa, but I will be visiting Joburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth and back home to Mumbai with two weeks in hand for the wedding!!!
I am so thrilled and excited for this journey to begin!!
