Hope you all had a lovely weekend, filled with exciting and fun loving activities. I also hope you had the time to go through my six step skin care routine. This blog is going to be a super quick read, (just the way I enjoy it) but an good insight to:
WHAT’S IN MY BAG?
So lets start from right to left:
THE FIRST!!
MY CHOCOLATE DIARY!
As some of you know, chocolate is my biggest weakness!! With wedding season coming up super shortly, I’m forced to quit it for a while. Except Sundays where I binge beyond control. But in the meantime, just so that I don’t miss it too much, I carry around with me this cute diary. This one was a gift to me, got it at a local store in Pune, but I love it because its super creative, light, and easy to carry even in my sling bag. Also carry my pen around with the diary to make quick notes. And i’m really sorry guys, I ate a little bit of my diary, like you can see above!!
THE SECOND!!
MY EARRINGS!
As decisive as you may think I am, I always think a lot before I pair an outfit with earrings. I think shoes and earrings can make or break an outfit. But on the bright side, hoops never go wrong, so I always make it a point to carry them with me. I leave the house wearing nothing, and change my mind sometimes mid-journey! yep! As funny as that sounds…
THE THIRD!!
MY CHANEL EYEWEAR!
Sunglasses are one of the most important accessories in my bag, I do not leave my house without having a pair of sunglasses. As some of you may have read in my previous blogs, I am super sensitive to the sun and I am sensitive to migraines. Because of so much light sensitivity, you can imagine now how much cherish this eyewear. Another reason why I love these so much is because it was a gift from my fiancé all the way from Japan! I always keep his gifts super close to my heart.
THE FOURTH!
MY LIPSTICK!!
Another super important one, that I don’t step out of the house without!! Lipstick, ah… just one of those makeup elements that can make you look good in 5 seconds. If I had to choose just one makeup item, it would be lipstick. This #kiko Milano product is extremely great because it has the gloss and the lipstick all in one making it easier instead of carrying two of them. Its super light and perfect for a day look, because I don’t prefer dark lipsticks at least when I am working or catching some brunch with my friends.
THE FIFTH!!
MY EYE KOHL!!
I have to be honest, this one I do not carry around with me all the time, but this kohl stick is super good to replace my liquid eye liner temporarily. This one is also from #kiko and I explored a lot of this during my one month trip in Milan this January. I always prefer liquid eyeliner, but when I am running out of time this is just the perfect replacement for my eyes!
THE SIXTH!!
THE PERFUME ETHER!!
So here I have with me a super small pocket perfume, it does not have a nozzle to it, so it’s like an ether. I love it because you see how easily I can fit it into my sling bag and smell good all day long. This fragrance I have is from #Yves Saint Laurent but I have many more of these small little ethers you could find at any perfumery or #Sephora.
MOVING ON TO THE SEVENTH!!
FOUNDATION STICK!!
The Foundation Stick from #AnastasiaBeverlyHills is one of my most sought after products. It is a compact stick, that you get in a huge range of skin types and the texture it provides is super natural. I don’t prefer the foundation sticks, that make you lose the charm that your skin already has. LASTLY……
MY WALLET!
I think I do not need to explain why I need a wallet in my bag, haha, but I want to tell you the story behind this wallet. This grey wallet is from #TommyHilfiger and its about 4 years old. This wallet has been a super integral part of my five years of architecture, as I used to show up to college with this one. In terms of functionality, I love these wallets as well as the #SteveMadden wallets as they have a great compartmentalizing and that makes it easier to store my cards and cash!!
